Host of the “All Things Real Estate” Radio Show
September 19, 2021

The “All Things Real Estate radio show airs this Sunday, September 19 (12-2pm Mountain Time) on Santa Fe’s Talk 1260 AM KTRC and 103.7-FM, and streams on SantaFe.com, as well as via the “Listen Now” link at ATREradio.com.
This weekly radio show features host and Sotheby’s International Realty’s Associate Broker Rey Post (NM REC License #45660), as well as a variety of special guests who offer news, information, and commentary on current real estate, business, and community issues, important to homeowners, buyers, and sellers.

In the first hour of the show, join Rey and his guest co-host Stephen Etre, owner of Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery, and their guests for a discussion of real estate, community and business issues, inspired by a special event.

A few days after the broadcast, is the Autumn Equinox. This is the exact date when the sun enters an imaginary line in the sky, and due to the solar angle, every region of our planet will experience close to 12 hours of daylight, and 12 hours of darkness.

Marking this occasion, Rey and his guests will discuss how the change of season impacts the work of real estate, business and community professionals. Since each season provides powerful metaphors for our mental, emotional, financial and spiritual states, the conversation will also note how the fall represents a time to reap the rewards of our hard work.

Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery Review:
Acknowledging the show theme, Rey and Stephen will discuss how the gallery approaches its interaction with its clients in the fall. The conversation will also preview the gallery’s ongoing estate sales events offered to the public. These special events attract consumers from all over the region and underscore why the gallery has become a popular destination for nearly four decades, to not only those who own, buy, or sell homes, but also all of those who practice real estate as a trade. Rey and Stephen will also discuss the gallery’s proud tradition of “giving back” to Santa Fe, including the support of local charities, as well as cultural and educational organizations. This is reflected in the gallery team’s deep commitment to building local, and sustainable community relationships. Stephen will also remind the audience on how he and his team continue to practice social distancing procedures, to make shopping at the gallery, as safe and secure as possible. Stephen’s gallery brings more than 14,000 square feet of display space, providing a wide variety of unique items, including furniture, antiques, art, estate items, jewelry, and home accessories. For more than twelve years, Stephen’s gallery has served as one of the major corporate supporters of, and content contributors to ATRE.

The SFAHBA Monthly Report:
Miles Conway, the Executive Officer of the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association (SFAHBA), will join Rey in a conversation about the impact of the fall season on the activities of professional home builders. Miles will also review the roster of winners from the 2021 Haciendas, A Parade of Homes tour, that was staged in Santa Fe August 13-15 and 20-22. This special event, offered some of the very best homes built in our nation for the public to tour. It featured cutting-edge design, and old-world craftsmanship handed down through generations, and the innovative use of materials that continue to make homes constructed in Santa Fe famous. On August 15th, the ATRE show aired a remote broadcast from one of the showcased homes in this year’s Parade event. Miles will also share information about other SFAHBA activities that will fill the association’s agenda for the remainder of 2021. Rey is proud of the fact that the SFAHBA has been a supporter of, and content provider to the ATRE radio show for the past 12+ years.

Rey’s “Real Estate Recommendation”:
Rey’s weekly real estate recommendation offers information on a variety of timely home buying and selling, community and business issues that impact the lives and work of consumers and real estate professionals. Rey’s commentary will include observations on the element of broker teamwork, and the professional assistance the marketing and administrative staff at the Santa Fe office of Sotheby’s International Realty bring to their interaction with the company’s brokers and clients.

Broker Reflections and Property of the Week
Rey will review the attributes of 203 Canyon Road with his Sotheby’s International Realty broker colleague Darlene Streit. Rey will also ask Darlene to reflect on the state of the current real estate market. Regarding Darlene’s listing—the OTA Gallery is located at the entrance to Santa Fe’s most prestigious arts and crafts district, Canyon Road. This RAC/8 zoned, single story building includes 8 convenient parking spaces and two main entrances. The interior of the building was totally renovated in 2017 as a contemporary fine-arts gallery with digital audio-video and lighting presentation assets, 12’ to 14’ ceiling heights, display windows, glass doors, and skylights providing plenty of natural light. The open main floor plan is highly configurable, with three 10’ mobile walls, ADA-accessible, office/storage/prep area, kitchen and 2 restrooms. Excellent building identification on three sides with display locations facing both Canyon Road, and Paseo de Peralta. As your next Santa Fe business location opportunity, 203 Canyon is second to none.

In the second hour of the show, join Rey and his special guest Gregg Antonsen, Senior Vice President and Brokerage Manager of the Santa Fe brokerage of Sotheby’s International Realty.

This past June marked Gregg’s 10th anniversary with the company. Over the past decade, he has supported hundreds of Sotheby’s International Realty brokers and earned well-deserved respect as a leader in Santa Fe’s real estate community.

Last month, Gregg announced that–after more than 40 years of service–he has decided to retire. He is doing so on a high note after leading the Santa Fe brokerage to closing approximately $1.2 billion in volume in 2020, tripling the brokerage’s volume since 2010, ultimately securing a greater market share than the next two local competitors combined.

Rey will ask Gregg to reflect on his decades of work in real estate, including the highlights of his career, as well as how the real estate industry has changed over the years. Besides congratulating Gregg on his years of service, Clifford Siegel, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Sotheby’s International Realty, recently stated that he was “…incredibly thankful for the talented team that Gregg has mentored,” at the Santa Fe brokerage. As manager of three offices, associate brokers and staff that comprise Sotheby’s International Realty’s presence in Santa Fe, Gregg fully understands the important role that home buying and selling plays in the economy, both locally, and across the nation.

ATRE Marks 12 Years Of Airing On June 6, 2021
ATRE began airing in June 2009, with the show broadcasting on more than 625 occasions after its launch date. Mostly in a two-hour format, the show has engaged in conversations with more than 2,700 guest commentators coming from Santa Fe and national real estate, business, governmental, entertainment, and community organizations. Though Rey created the show and has hosted just about every 1st hour (and many of the 2nd-hour broadcasts), a number of professionals have served as special guest hosts for many of the 2nd-hour broadcasts of the show. Rey is honored that ATRE has been embraced by the listening audience, with people in Santa Fe, throughout New Mexico, and across the country selecting the show as a destination each Sunday. He is also very appreciative of the program’s corporate supporters, broadcast professionals at Hutton Broadcasting, and the marketing team at Sotheby’s International Realty, for all that they have done to make the show a success. Here is a link to a press release marking the 12-year anniversary of the program.
