This weekly radio show features host and Sotheby’s International Realty’s Associate Broker Rey Post (NM REC License #45660), as well as a variety of special guests who offer news, information, and commentary on current real estate, business, and community issues, important to homeowners, buyers, and sellers.

In the first hour of the show, join Rey and his guest co-host John Grisak, owner of roof restoration company, Fix My Roof, LLC, and their guests, for a discussion of real estate, business and community issues, as the ATRE radio show marks its 13th year of airing.

Launched in June 2009, ATRE airs live for two hours each Sunday (12-2pm Mountain Time) on KTRC 1260AM and 103.7FM, and streams to a global audience on SantaFe.com, as well as via the “Listen Now” link at the ATRE website.

Over the years, ATRE has been supported by a some of the best real estate-related companies, non-profit groups, event organizations and well-known businesses in New Mexico. Their representatives regularly contribute commentary to the radio show and content to the ATRE blog (a roster of current supporters is at: atreradio.com). In addition, nationally-known business, entertainment, sports and government leaders have been guests of Rey during broadcasts of the ATRE program, dating back to 2009.

During Sunday’s show, Rey will share his thoughts on how lucky he has been to also receive the professional support of the team at Hutton Broadcasting and SantaFe.com, as well as the very talented administrative and marketing team members at Sotheby’s International Realty (further referenced below). Rey has also benefited from the regular feedback from members of the listening audience, including suggestions for topics to be discussed during the airing of the show.

The ATRE program was nominated in 2011 for a Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award; was designated—in 2020—as a national “Newsmaker” by RISMedia, the #1 source in the U.S. for residential news and information; and has been profiled in multiple media stories, as well as the corporate newsletter of Sotheby’s International Realty®. For more information about ATRE, see the press release in the section below.

2022 Roofing and Home Maintenance Update:

John Grisak, owner of Fix My Roof, LLC, will speak to the show’s theme, offering his thoughts on the role that he and his roof restoration companies have played with ATRE for many years. Rey will also reflect on the important contributions that John and his business colleagues have made to the content of ATRE, since they became a corporate supporter of, and monthly commentary provider to the program. John will also review roof restoration issues important to residential and commercial property owners, during the month of June, including the services offered by the other companies he owns—Fiddler Roofing NM, and Zia Insulated Foam Roofing, as well as the home and commercial construction services offered by Forsite Construction, LLC. Fix My Roof, LLC, is committed to restoring existing roofs for a fraction of the cost of roof replacement while maximizing a positive impact on the environment by embracing environmentally responsible practices and educating the greater community about environmental stewardship. Headquartered in Santa Fe, the company has completed both residential and commercial jobs in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, El Dorado, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Cochiti, Las Cruces, Alamogordo, Silver City, and many more locations. Fix My Roof, LLC is not only a long-time supporter of ATRE, it is also one of the program’s most trusted content providers.

Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, LLC, Update:

Donna Jones White, owner and Qualifying Broker of Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, LLC, will offer some observations on her collaboration with ATRE over the years. Rey will speak to the important role that Donna’s company plays in the community, as well as being a valuable resource for information shared each month, when Donna offers her radio show commentary. To underscore this point, Donna will share how she and her team work with their clients in pursuing the best property rentals in Santa Fe, whether it is for a vacation destination, a furnished 30-day, or a long-term unfurnished property. Consumers from around the globe turn to Donna’s company to aid them in finding comfortable and high-quality residences for their stays in our community. As one of the most popular commentators over the years on the ATRE radio show, Donna is offering her monthly observations throughout 2022, on a variety of important Santa Fe real estate and business issues.

Rey’s “Real Estate Recommendation”:

Rey’s weekly real estate recommendation offers information on a variety of timely home buying and selling, community and business issues that impact the lives and work of consumers and real estate professionals. Rey’s commentary will include observations on the element of broker teamwork, and the professional assistance the marketing and administrative staff at the Santa Fe office of Sotheby’s International Realty bring to their interaction with the company’s brokers and clients.

Rey’s Reflections On The Brokers And Staff Of Sotheby’s International Realty:

Rey will share his thoughts on the professional expertise, knowledge and commitment his fellow associate broker colleagues at Sotheby’s International Realty, bring as they aid home buyers and sellers. As weekly commentators on the radio show, the associate brokers of the company have played a significant role in making ATRE a success. Rey is indebted to these fellow real estate professionals, who have contributed significantly to the show’s message about serving consumers, as they explore a variety of real estate topics. Rey will also reflect on the quality of the listings that the company and its brokers offer to home buyers who wish to make Santa Fe their home.

And without the extremely valuable input of the Sotheby’s International Realty administrative and marketing team professionals, the ATRE program would not be the real estate information destination that consumers continue to choose each week, since the show first aired in the summer of 2009. And it is important to note that the corporate office of Sotheby’s International Realty has been a long-time supporter of the ATRE program.

In the second hour of the show, join Rey and his special guest, Santa Fe Mayor Alan Webber, as he attends the 90th annual meeting of The United States Conference Of Mayors, being staged in Reno, Nevada.

Besides sharing his observations on issues discussed during the annual mayor’s event, The Mayor will also engage in a discussion with Rey on a variety of issues, including:

  • Observations on issues, policies, and Santa Fe city activities in 2022.
  • What makes Santa Fe such a special destination.
  • Addressing city real estate development and housing needs.
  • Career opportunities with the City.

Mayor Webber will also share his impressions about the role that the ATRE program plays in the greater Santa Fe community, as the program marks its anniversary this Sunday.

Alan Webber is Santa Fe’s 43rd Mayor—and the City’s first full-time executive. He was elected in March of 2018 with 66% of the vote in another first for Santa Fe, the City’s first Ranked Choice Voting election. Alan ran to make Santa Fe the most user-friendly, eco-friendly, and family-friendly city in the country.

As Mayor, he is focused on:

  • Diversifying the economy,
  • Building affordable housing,
  • Fighting opioid addiction.
  • Investing in young Santa Feans.
  • Bringing Santa Fe together.
  • Making Santa Fe’s way of life sustainable.

Before running for Mayor, Alan built a career in business and journalism, most notably as the Editorial Director of the Harvard Business Review and Co-Founder and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Fast Company Magazine. Alan has been married to Frances Diemoz for over forty years. They have two children, Adam and Amanda.

ATRE Marks 13 Years Of Airing On June 5, 2022

ATRE began airing in June 2009, with the show broadcasting on more than 700 occasions, as it marks 13 years of airing on Sunday, June 5th. Mostly in a two-hour format, the show has engaged in conversations with more than 3,000 guest commentators coming from Santa Fe and national real estate, business, governmental, entertainment, and community organizations. Though Rey created the show and has hosted just about every 1st hour (and many of the 2nd-hour broadcasts), a number of professionals have served as special guest hosts for many of the 2nd-hour broadcasts of the show. Rey is honored that ATRE has been embraced by the listening audience, with people in Santa Fe, throughout New Mexico, and across the country selecting the show as a destination each Sunday. He is also very appreciative of the program’s corporate supporters, broadcast professionals at Hutton Broadcasting, and the marketing team and fellow associate brokers at Sotheby’s International Realty, for all that they have done to make the show a success. Here is a link to a press release, marking the 13-year anniversary of the program in June 2022.
