Host of the “All Things Real Estate” Radio Show
October 13, 2019

The “All Things Real Estate” (ATRE) radio show airs this Sunday, October 13, 2019 (12-2pm Mountain Time) on Santa Fe’s Talk 1260-AM and 103.7-FM, and streams on SantaFe.com, as well as via the “Listen Now” link at ATREradio.com.

On June 2, ATRE celebrated 10 years of airing. Rey and his team recognize the valuable content brought to the program over the past decade by some of the nation’s best business, non-profit, community and real estate leaders. The guest commentators on this week’s show are emblematic of the quality of professionals who have helped to make ATRE a destination that people from all over the country turn to each Sunday.

In the first hour of the show, join Rey and his guest co-host Stephen Etre, owner of Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery, and their guests as they highlight some of the most important real estate, business, and event activities of the month, including the staging of the annual “Fall Sale” at Stephen’s gallery, October 19 – 20.

  • Real Estate Broker Observations: Using the show theme as a backdrop, Rey will offer some thoughts on the focus of real estate professionals, as they work with home buyers and sellers in October.
  • Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery Review: Stephen Etre, Owner of Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery, will reflect on a variety of activities the gallery gives attention to in October. This includes the gallery hosting its nationally-known “Fall Sale,” October 19 – 20, which attracts buyers from around the United States, and offers some of the greatest value to those who wish to furnish their home with a wide variety of items. Stephen will also review the gallery’s successful estate sales activity staged at properties all over northern New Mexico; the gallery’s preparations for holiday gift-buying; and the mission of the gallery to “give back” to the Santa Fe community. The gallery is known as a popular destination for meeting the home design, furniture and accessory needs of consumers. With more than 13,000 square feet of display space, the gallery serves as a place that consumers—along with real estate professionals—have gone to for nearly four decades to find unique art, antiques, jewelry, furniture, and home accessories. The gallery, as part of the Santa Fe community for nearly 40 years, is proud of its involvement in local charities, as well as cultural and educational organizations. The team at the gallery has a deep commitment to building local and sustainable community relationships. For the 11th year in a row, Stephen’s gallery will serve—in 2020—as one of the major corporate supporters of “All Things Real Estate,” with Mr. Etre offering monthly commentary throughout the year.
  • Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, LLC, Update: Donna Jones White, Owner and Qualifying Broker of Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, LLC, will discuss the show theme, including how she and her team offer their highly-regarded professional guidance to visitors to New Mexico, who are seeking the best in vacation rental properties in October. In addition, Donna will also remind the audience about her company’s role in maintaining a collection of rental options for not only vacation guests, but also those who choose to come to Santa Fe and are seeking a furnished 30-day, or long-term unfurnished property. Consumers from around the globe turn to Donna’s company to aid them in finding comfortable and high-quality residences for their stays in our community. As one of the most popular commentators over the years on the “All Things Real Estate” radio show, Donna is returning in 2020 to continue to offer her monthly observations on a variety of important Santa Fe real estate and business issues.
  • Rey’s “Real Estate Recommendation”: Rey’s weekly real estate recommendation will offer some suggestions on how to make the home buying and selling process a bit easier, more efficient and less time consuming for consumers.
  • Open House of the Week: Rey will review the attributes of 507 Calle Corvo with his Sotheby’s International Realty broker colleague KC Martin. This elegant, warm and inviting, gated and custom two-bedroom residence is located in the Eastside of Santa Fe, just off of Canyon Road, one of the city’s most coveted streets. The single-level home is new construction, and full of Santa Fe charm while reflecting modern elegance, offering numerous features, including red oak select and travertine tile floors, in-floor radiant heat, a security system, refrigerated air-conditioning, an open concept living room, a generous dining room space, and a modern gourmet kitchen with an oversized granite island, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances. There is also a separate laundry room at the home, and a private courtyard with lush trees. The property is centrally located in Santa Fe, with easy access to restaurants, galleries, and the city’s historic Plaza.

In the second hour of the show, join Rey and his guest co-host Craig Hoopes, Principal at the highly-regarded firm Hoopes & Associates Architects, as they discuss important real estate, architectural, and business issues, that are the focus of consumers in the month of October. Craig will also update listeners on new home design and construction developments, that can be applied to those who wish to build a new home in 2019. Craig’s architectural firm is well-known across the country for numerous award-winning accomplishments. This includes designing the Grand Hacienda-winning home of both the 2014 and 2018 “Haciendas, A Parade of Homes” tours. As participants in these editions of the popular public event, Craig and his team joined home builders, landscape architects, and interior designers in the design and construction of outstanding properties. Craig’s architectural firm serves as a major corporate supporter of “All Things Real Estate.” As a monthly content provider, Craig offers a unique perspective on the role that architecture plays in home design and construction in Santa Fe, as well as in communities around the nation.

Giving Back to the Community

Since 2009, the “All Things Real Estate” (ATRE) radio show has offered air time to a variety of Santa Fe non-profit and community organizations. Representatives from organizations are able to use the ATRE program to share news and information with northern New Mexico residents about their services and activities. Over the years, some of the highly-regarded non-profit organizations featured on the ATRE program are: Cornerstones Community Partnerships; Think New Mexico; Las Campanas Compadres; the Santa Fe Concorso; Kitchen Angels; Creative Santa Fe; and, Dollars4Schools. In addition, Santa Fe Mayor Alan Webber—who has offered commentary on the show since first elected in 2018—speaks to the programs, events and community activities important to the residents of the city. In addition, the Town of Taos has been collaborating with ATRE in 2019, in a year-long information series—sponsored by the Taos Ski Valley—called “This Is Taos,” designed to offer useful information about this historic northern New Mexico community. Among the companies and non-profit organizations joining in supporting this new monthly show series are Taos Mesa Brewing; the Taos Center for the Arts; the Taos Arts Council; the Taos Gallery Association; the Taos Opera Institute; as well as the Strong at Heart, and Taos MainStreet Accelerator projects.
