The “All Things Real Estate” (ATRE) radio show meets the standards established by the New Mexico Department of Health as an “essential business” (real estate-related and radio service), as defined in the state’s March 23, 2020 public health emergency order relating to the presence of coronavirus. As such, ATRE is committed to bringing timely and informative content to the public from some of the nation’s best business, non-profit, community, and real estate leaders. The guest commentators on this week’s show are emblematic of the quality of professionals who have helped to make ATRE a destination that people from all over the country turn to each Sunday.

In the first hour of the show, join Rey and his guest co-hosts—Stephen Etre, owner of Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery, as well as Katherine Armijo Etre, Vice President, Mission and Community Health at the CHRISTUS St. Vincent Health System, and their guests, for the ninth in a series of broadcasts that addresses the ways that those who work in real estate, other businesses, or community organizations, are pursuing their lives and professions, while dealing with the current coronavirus situation.

Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery Review:

Stephen Etre, Owner of Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery will update the audience on the ways that his gallery is working with its clients, as the ongoing health crisis persists. Stephen will also remind the audience of the gallery’s mission of “giving back” to the Santa Fe community. Stephen’s gallery—which has been a part of the Santa Fe community for nearly 40 years—will return to its regular business operation, once the coronavirus situation is fully addressed, bringing more than 13,000 square feet of gallery display space, providing a wide variety of unique items to the public. More than ever, Stephen is proud of his gallery’s involvement in local charities, as well as cultural, and educational organizations. The team at the gallery has a deep commitment to building local, and sustainable community relationships. For the eleventh year in a row, Stephen’s gallery is serving as one of the major corporate supporters of “All Things Real Estate,” with Mr. Etre offering monthly commentary throughout 2020.

CHRISTUS St. Vincent Health System Commitment to Northern New Mexico:

Katherine Armijo Etre, Vice President of Mission and Community Health at the CHRISTUS organization, will update the audience on how the CHRISTUS health care system is meeting the challenges of the coronavirus situation. Katherine has worked in the field of health and human services for over 30 years in State Government, non-profits, education, and health care. She has extensive experience in the areas of early childhood, school age children, adolescent, adult behavioral health, and senior care. Her areas of expertise include organizational development, program development, and public health. She has a deep personal and professional commitment to improving the health and well-being of people by assuring that they are treated as “whole” persons; truly recognizing that people are more than just a medical condition or a client receiving a service. It takes more than health care services for people to lead happy, healthy lives. She believes that communities have resources to build upon including health care, safety net programs, faith communities, family supports and most important, people who care. Having the opportunity to do this work in her own community brings her great professional satisfaction. Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, LLC, Update:

Consumers from around the globe turn to Donna’s company to aid them in finding comfortable and high-quality residences for their stays in our community. As one of the most popular commentators over the years on the “All Things Real Estate” radio show, Donna has returned in 2020 to offer her monthly observations on a variety of important Santa Fe real estate and business issues.

Rey’s “Real Estate Recommendation”:

Rey’s weekly real estate recommendation will offer information on the ongoing efforts of Sotheby’s International Realty to address the needs of home buyers and sellers, as the coronavirus situation continues. Rey will also share some thoughts on an ongoing element of teamwork, that he and all of his broker colleagues subscribe to. Specifically, that the marketing and administrative staff at the Santa Fe office of Sotheby’s International Realty are offering an even greater level of professional assistance to the company’s brokers and clients, during this exceptionally challenging period of time.

Broker Reflections and Property of the Week:

Rey will review the attributes of 826 Viejo Rastro with his Sotheby’s International Realty broker colleague Gary Bobolsky. Rey will also ask Gary to reflect on how the coronavirus has impacted his personal life, and real estate work. Regarding Gary’s property listing—this sophisticated Sharon Woods designed and constructed four-bedroom, two-car garage estate is located off the much beloved Old Santa Fe Trail (less than a ten-minute drive to downtown Santa Fe), on a secluded and fenced acre of property, with breathtaking sunset views from the living and entertaining spaces. The main residence consists of a large master bedroom suite with a cozy library area anchored by a lovely wood burning fireplace, rounded vigas, and lovely garden views. Two secondary bedrooms suites are separated by a spacious, open concept living/dining area with dramatic fourteen-foot high-beamed ceilings, dormer windows, a wood burning kiva fireplace and panoramic windows captivating an ever-blooming native garden and Jemez mountain views. The chef’s kitchen is warm, generous and embraces the heart of the home with rich wood cabinetry, granite countertops and a large cherry wood island, featuring breakfast nook area, which opens up onto a side patio embraced by large pine trees and a bubbling water feature. A separate guesthouse has its own access from the driveway with a cozy bedroom suite and kitchenette flanking the central fireplace complete with its own private portal. Sharing a wall with the guesthouse is a quiet office space with lovely wood built-in cabinetry, ample desk space and a powder room. Additional details include a solar hot water system, jetted tub and steam shower in the master suite, evaporative cooling in the main and guest homes, wood and brick floors, smooth plaster walls, custom doors throughout and high-end appliances and fixtures, as well as a reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen.

In the second hour of the show, Rey will be joined by Gregg Antonsen, Senior Vice President and Qualifying Broker at the Santa Fe brokerage of Sotheby’s International Realty. Rey and Gregg will discuss how the brokerage is addressing the needs of home buyers and sellers, as we continue to operate in the coronavirus environment. Among other activities—and to meet these needs—the brokers of the company are offering a range of technological tools that provide useful property and transaction information to consumers, in a safe, and user-friendly fashion. Gregg will also offer his thoughts on the state of the real estate market in May, as well as the home buying and selling options available to consumers as we move towards the summer months. Gregg has served in his role at the brokerage since 2011, and brings more than 30 years of real estate experience to the radio show’s conversation. As manager of the three offices, associate brokers and staff that comprise Sotheby’s International Realty’s presence in Santa Fe, Gregg fully understands the important role that home buying and selling plays in our city’s economy.
