HOME BUYING AND THE MESSAGE OF LABOR DAY

 September 2, 2018

Happy Labor Day

During the first hour of today’s “All Things Real Estate” radio show, my guest co-host—John Grisak, President of Fix My Roof, LLC—and I offered some thoughts tied  to this Labor Day weekend broadcast of the program.

We reminded folks that Labor Day is a creation of our nation’s labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

In the spirit of this historic occasion—and as the theme for the show—John and I underscored the concept that hard working real estate professionals, aid consumers in their efforts to achieve and maintain the “American Dream of home ownership.”

I also offered some thoughts on how real estate professionals work together to help property buyers achieve home ownership, which is undoubtedly the largest expense that anyone will most likely have in their life.

As I have stated on many occasions during past radio broadcasts, having positive chemistry with your real estate broker; lender (if you use a mortgage to buy your home); home inspector; title company professional; and any other player who is critical to the home purchase process, is critical to your eventual success in the purchase of a new home.

The home buying process is full of potential obstacles, delays, time and material requirements and other elements that can work to deny you the goal of reaching the settlement table in a successful fashion.

Having a good team to work with of knowledgeable, successful, empathetic and enthusiastic professionals, is perhaps the best message to deliver to you on this Labor Day holiday weekend.

So “Rey’s Real Estate Recommendation” this week is so to shop wisely when     pursuing a home purchase; have your paperwork in place; collaborate with a team of professionals you can trust; and then enjoy this unique and life-changing event!

I also want to remind you that when tackling these and other home buying elements, please join us each Sunday on the “All Things Real Estate” radio show (12-2pm Mountain Time).

Also, if you go to my website, you can send me your own real estate questions, or suggestions for topics that he will handle on the program (that’s ATREradio.com). I will treat your questions confidentially and will send you answers I hope will help you in your own real estate activities.
